Along with the task of keeping leakage current within limits, the isolating transformer also has the function of adapting the different voltages of networks around the world. From 100V in Japan or 115V in the United States to 230V in Europe and 240V in Australia, there are different voltages across the entire globe. The REOMED enables existing devices to be used with a different input voltage so that the same device can be used across the world.
REOMEDs are mainly used for endoscopy, pneumoscopy, ventilators and incubators. The demand for the manufacture of ventilators and incubators has recently risen sharply during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only our employees in Pfarrkirchen but the entire REO family is proud that our products are part of the global supply chain and that we can help in the fight against the pandemic every day.
The trust in REOMED depends not only on the quality or the high degree of individualization. It is the globally outstanding holistic package that the customer receives from REO. This includes taking over the technical process, from creating the documentation, manufacturing to carrying out all the desired certifications.
